An eighth body was recovered Tuesday from the wreckage of a World War II plane that plunged into Clear Lake last weekend. Authorities said they did not think anyone else was on the aircraft.

“I believe we have all of the victims from the plane now,” said Lake County Undersheriff Keith Clausen.

Meanwhile, investigators continued to pull parts of the Lockheed P2V Harpoon out of the mud and murky shallow water of the lake, where it crashed Saturday after intruding on a seaplane air show and giving an impromptu aerobatics display.

The family of Doug Lacey, a San Rafael pilot who owned a restored P2V Harpoon, believes he was on the plane when it crashed. Lynn Hunt, a pilot and plane enthusiast, said his sister, Adrean Clark, 43, of Santa Rosa, also is believed to have been a passenger. Names of other victims have not been released.
