LOCAL : Judge OKs Delay in Brando Trial
From Times Staff and Wire Service Reports
A judge agreed today to tentatively delay the start of Christian Brando’s murder trial, giving prosecutors more time to subpoena his half sister in Tahiti.
The judge, in setting a new trial date of Nov. 5, also cited a crowded court calendar in agreeing to put off the case. The trial had been set to begin next Tuesday in Santa Monica.
Christian Brando, 32, is accused of killing Dag Drollet, Cheyenne’s boyfriend, May 16.
