Soroptimist Program Seeking Applicants

Applications are now being accepted for the Soroptimist TAP (Training Award Program) Award. The cash award is given each spring by Soroptimist International of Manhattan Beach to a woman who needs assistance in getting training to enter, re-enter or improve her position in the labor force.

Preferred candidates are heads of households who are completing undergraduate programs or entering vocational or technical training. The winner will be eligible for additional funds from Soroptimist Camino Real. For additional information, call 379-7798.
