ON THE ROAD: Cal State Fullerton’s new president, Milton Gordon, will host parties in San Jose and Washington next month to energize the university’s estimated 85,000 alumni. . . . Enthusiastic alums have been known to contribute money, and while that’s “not the main reason,” it’s also “not unrelated,” Gordon says. . . . A survey of the last two years’ Fullerton graduates shows that 53% have positions in business and corporations, 20% in education and 10% in government. No riches, but “when you have 85,000 (alumni), you don’t need millionaires.”
