Upjohn Co.: The Kalamazoo, Mich., drug firm said third-quarter profit totaled $106.4 million, up 11% from the same period a year ago. Revenue rose 13% to $748.3 million. The profit figure includes a $5.7-million after-tax loss from discontinued operations. The company said the sale of its Upjohn Healthcare Services Inc. unit will allow the company to focus on its core products.
