Leaders of Central America’s congresses and national assemblies meet in Panama’s capital Thursday to review regional programs dealing with narcotics trafficking and environmental damage.

The parliamentary presidents and vice presidents will also assess the opportunities for increased economic, political and cultural integration of the six Central American nations.

The meeting is the second in a year and was called by Alonso Fernandez, president of the Panamanian Legislative Assembly, to learn new forms of living happily together.
