MCA Inc.: The entertainment firm reported record third-quarter revenue of $1.1 billion, up 19% over last year. Profit was $61.4 million, 11% more than in 1989. The firm’s Filmed Entertainment Group posted record revenue on the release of “Back to the Future” in foreign markets and a number of home video releases.
