Santa Fe Pacific Corp.: The railroad and energy company reported third-quarter net income of $5.5 million, down substantially from the $33.8 million reported in the same period last year. Revenue fell 3% to $713.6 million. Results included a one-time charge of $13.1 million for an exchange of common stock for a portion of the company’s senior subordinated debentures.
