The size of a $4 cup of beer will be increased from 16 ounces to 18 ounces at Sunday’s game between the Rams and Atlanta Falcons at Anaheim Stadium, the Rams said.

In an attempt to curtail beer consumption and resulting rowdy behavior, Anaheim Stadium and Ram management decided two weeks ago to stop selling $4, 22-ounce beers and to sell 16-ounce helpings for the same price.

After reducing the size of beers for the Rams’ game against Cincinnati Oct. 14, there were fewer crowd problems and no arrests for fighting, police reported.
