Rada Electronic Industries Inc., an Israeli electronics manufacturer with a subsidiary in Orange County, said Friday that it has signed an agreement with a Western European firm to form a new company.

The company, as yet unnamed, will market in Western Europe automated test equipment and data transfer equipment manufactured by Tasco Electronic Services Inc. of Anaheim.

Tasco, a developer and manufacturer of military computers, recently received orders from the Israeli Defense Ministry to provide it with electronic equipment to be used in a flight simulator and other computers.

Tasco and Rada officials would not disclose the name of their European partner. Financial terms of the agreement also were not disclosed.

Rada also announced that it has recently received orders in excess of $5 million to provide automated test equipment to support F-15 fighter planes.

Rada is part of an Israeli conglomerate that designs and develops avionic equipment, computers and other electronic components. It acquired a 51% interest in Tasco in 1986 and eventually bought the rest of the company.
