The NCAA announced the second part of its plan to distribute money from its TV contract for its basketball tournament.
A plan to distribute $31.25 million to conferences based on the success their teams had in the tournament was announced earlier.
In the second part, individual schools will share in another $31.25 million depending on how many sports they sponsor and how many athletic scholarships they give.
The third part of the plan is a direct $25,000 payment to schools that is to be used for programs that aid athletes academically.
