Stock Repurchase: BE Avionics Inc., the Santa Ana-based supplier of airplane passenger entertainment systems, said its directors have authorized the repurchase of up to 1 million shares of the company’s common stock. BEA has 6,868,194 shares of common stock outstanding. The shares may be bought from time to time in block or open-market regular transactions. The company said up to 500,000 repurchased shares could be used to reduce dilution associated with the issuance of shares under employee stock option programs.
