Will He or Won’t He?: Former Ku Klux Klan leader and current Louisiana state Rep. David Duke spent much of last week flip-flopping on whether or not he will appear on “Jesse Jackson.” Jackson is scheduled to tape an interview with Duke, who was elected to the Louisiana House last year and made an unsuccessful bid for the U.S. Senate this fall, in Washington Wednesday for broadcast Nov. 3 on his nationally syndicated talk show. But a Duke spokesman said producers of the show told Duke last week that instead of a solo interview, he will be part of a panel discussion about President Bush’s veto of civil-rights legislation. Duke said he preferred a one-on-one interview and a more “broad-ranging discussion,” but he still might show, say producers.
