Motherly Love

The articles on “Mom Food” were wonderful--warm, amusing and moving all at the same time. They were character sketches and very descriptive of the subjects’ personalities, while also revealing their style of living, ethnic background and family relationships. It is interesting that food, whatever ethnicity, serves as the centerpiece for memories of childhood and home and bring to mind our own happy memories although they may differ markedly from our own childhood cuisine.
