Air L.A., Air Resorts to Merge: Air L.A. and Air Resorts Airlines have signed an agreement to merge. President Wayne Schoenfeld said the merger will allow Air L.A. to complete a major expansion into the Mexican cities of Tijuana, Hermosillo, Mexicali and Guaymas. The company serves the Grand Canyon, Palm Springs and Las Vegas from Los Angeles International Airport. Air Resorts serves Arizona from San Diego.
