STATE : Lotto Pot May Grow to $9 Million

Nobody won the $4.8-million jackpot in the latest “Lotto 6-53” game, and lottery officials said today that Wednesday’s prize could reach $9 million.
Because no player picked all six numbers, the $4.8-million prize will roll over to Wednesday night’s drawing. Lottery officials expected that six-of-six jackpot to reach $9 million.
There were five tickets with five numbers plus the bonus number that won $110,611 apiece. The tickets were purchased in Burbank, Hawthorne, Los Angeles and two in Daly City.
