Grumman Corp.: The Bethpage, N.Y.-based defense contractor said its third-quarter earnings jumped 51% to $25.6 million on revenue that was up 11% to $1 billion. The company said the improvement was the result of more of its new F-14D aircraft coming off assembly lines.
