More than 200,000 Americans are in Saudi Arabia protecting its $5-billion monthly income from selling oil.

Meanwhile, Saudi King Fahd’s brother-in-law, Abdul Aziz Al-Ibrahim, is in Los Angeles buying Marina del Rey public-owned land, hotels and boat slips (Metro, Nov. 2).

Never before in history have so many been impoverished for the gluttony of so few. In the words of the famous fable, is it King Fahd or President Bush who has no clothes?
