Two trainers whose horses were found to be drugged have been suspended by stewards at Rockingham Park.

Owner-trainer Nunzio Cataldo and assistant trainer Juan Jimenez were suspended for 240 days each after the drug apomorphine, a stimulant, was found in three horses controlled by the two men.

“I have no idea how it happened, “ Cataldo told The Boston Globe.

Marvelous Marvlynn, a 6-year-old mare, finished second in Rockingham’s first race Oct. 8. A 70-1 shot, she returned $28.40 to place and $25.60 to show.
