Arcadia Townhomes

Village Arcadia, a community of detached and paired townhomes developed by Century Pacific Associates, opens this weekend at 420 E. California St., Arcadia.

Home prices for the grand opening have been cut by $60,000 to accommodate the present market, the developer said, and are now set at $279,000 to $359,900.

The two-story floor plans range in size from 2,002 to 2,316 square feet, have three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths and include marble entries, cathedral ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, family and utility rooms.

The gated community is surrounded by open spaces and landscaping and each home has its own private patio and double garage with automatic, roll-up doors.

Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Thursday and Friday. To reach Village Arcadia, exit the Foothill (210) Freeway at Santa Anita Avenue and go south to California Street
