The World League of American Football might not get started on schedule next spring because of the economy, NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue said.
“Today there are a lot of uncertainties,” Tagliabue said on the eve of a meeting of NFL owners. “The economy isn’t as robust as it was when the idea of the league was launched.”
