South Korea Picks Bechtel: Bechtel Group Inc. has won a contract to design a $5-billion airport in Seoul, South Korea, that will be among the world’s 10 largest, the San Francisco-based construction and engineering company announced. The contract comes just eight months after Bechtel was chosen as project manager for the first phase of a $16-billion airport and public transportation project in Hong Kong.
