Glendora Approves Curbside Recycling

Share

Curbside recycling will come to Glendora next spring under a measure approved Tuesday by the City Council.

The council voted 4 to 0 to approve an amendment to its contract with City Refuse Service to have the trash company start the recycling program beginning about April.

City Refuse will supply three 12-gallon recycling containers to each Glendora home. Residents may use the containers to separate their recyclable paper, plastic, glass and metal, which will be collected by City Refuse during the regular weekly trash pickup.

Regardless of whether residents choose to participate in the program, all will be charged $1.20 a month for it.
