President Bush Orders More Troops to Iraq

Share

Before the bloodshed and destruction begin, how about a face-to-face meeting of the two principal adversaries, President Bush and Saddam Hussein? The two should meet (with only interpreters) in the White House. We should send Air Force I to bring Hussein here. We should make sure he sees a lot of America before landing. Then let the talks begin and end with a peaceful solution. If this all sounds too naive and simplistic, it may be our last chance. In the brief history of the world, nothing has ever been resolved by killing.
