NATION IN BRIEF : VIRGINIA : Lujan’s Son Is Held Without Bail in Rape

A 48-year-old woman testified in Alexandria, Va., General District Court that Robert Jeffrey Lujan, 28, the son of Interior Secretary Manuel Lujan Jr., raped her last week. Lujan was ordered held without bond while the case goes to a grand jury. The woman said she awakened in her apartment to find a naked man with a shotgun standing over her bed. The woman said she and the man talked and walked around for about two hours before he forced her to have sex. Lujan has previously been charged with cocaine possession.
