A three-member panel of The Athletics Congress recommended that Larry Myricks be reinstated as of April 13, 1991.

Myricks, the 1988 Olympic bronze medalist and two-time world indoor long-jump champion, was banned for life after testing positive for a stimulant.

Myricks, 34, a four-time Olympian and the 1979 World Cup winner, tested positive for phenylpropanolomine, a stimulant used in cold medications, at the U.S. Indoor Championships in New York Feb. 24. Subsequently, it was announced he tested positive for the same substance at meets in Hamilton, Canada, Jan. 12 and at Seville, Spain, Feb. 27.
