Emir of Bahrain Has Surgery in Cleveland

MANAMA, Bahrain —
The emir of Bahrain, Sheik Isa ibn Salman al Khalifa, has had an operation at a U.S. hospital noted for its heart surgery, according to a statement released Tuesday.
“Sheik Isa underwent a successful operation at the Cleveland hospital,” the Gulf News Agency quoted the statement as saying. There were no further details.
