SIDELINES : Ruddock on Tyson Undercard
Razor Ruddock, a leading heavyweight contender, will fight on the undercard of the Mike Tyson-Alex Stewart fight Dec. 8.
Ruddock’s opponent for the scheduled 10-rounder will be Mike Rouse of Portsmouth, Va., a left-hander with a 12-5-1 record.
Ruddock is ranked second by the International Boxing Federation and the World Boxing Assn., and third by the World Boxing Council.
The Canadian was to have fought Tyson for the title before Tyson was dethroned by James (Buster) Douglas, but the then-champion pulled out because of illness. He has a 24-1-1 record.
