NATION IN BRIEF : OKLAHOMA : Divers Seek Victim of Helicopter Crash
Divers wearing wet suits against the cold unsuccessfully searched the murky water of Lake Ellsworth for a civilian flight instructor missing after a military helicopter crash near Lawton, Okla. The instructor and five members of the 374th Air Ambulance Company, a reserve unit activated as part of Operation Desert Shield, were on a training mission, working for the first time with new night-vision goggles, when their helicopter crashed into the lake late Thursday. Lakeshore residents in a fishing boat rescued the five crewmen.
