Magic, Hearn Charged With Wrong Response to Arrest of Worthy

“No matter what he did.” When I first read Magic Johnson’s quote regarding the arrest of James Worthy for solicitation, I was enraged. For the first time I am disgusted by Magic and his callous attitude. No matter what he did! Is the only thing that matters is that he show up to play? Regardless of his wife, the fans and management. Is Magic condoning solicitation?

I am personally shocked that someone of Mr. Worthy’s stature would even attempt such an act, and worse yet by Magic’s attempt to sweep it under the carpet. I know I won’t forget about it and neither will the people who will suffer because of this disgraceful episode.
