FOUND MONEY: Oil company violations of price controls back in the ‘70s are still yielding fines and settlements. . . . The County Transportation Commission will get $750,000 for upgrading Beach Boulevard and Anaheim gets $400,000 for traffic signs, signals and surveillance cameras. . . . At one time, California received as much as $300 million a year from the fines, “but the well is drying up,” says one official.
