Michael S. Heschel has resigned as chairman and chief executive of Security Pacific Automation Co. to pursue other business opportunities. Heschel joined Security Pacific in April from Baxter International, where he served as corporate vice president-information services. John P. Singleton, vice chairman and chief operating officer of Security Pacific Corp., will reassume his former responsibilities as chairman and chief executive of the subsidiary on an interim basis.
