Riverboat Gambling OKd

NATCHEZ, Miss. —
Voters in this Mississippi River city have approved riverboat gambling, clearing the way for a developer to build a planned 1,000-passenger floating casino. Unofficial results showed that voters in Adams County, in the southwest corner of the state, favored riverboat gambling 6,031 to 5,242 in Tuesday’s referendum.
