California Cove, a new single-family home community by Kaufman & Broad Home Corp. in Oxnard, will have its grand opening this weekend. Seventeen units will be released in the first phase.

Three single- and two-story plans are available with two or three bedrooms and have 1,702 to 2,320 square feet of living space. Amenities include wood-burning fireplaces, ceramic tile entries and two or three garages.

The project will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. It’s reached from the westbound Ventura Road exit of U.S. 101.

Santa Maria Homes

River Ranch by Sunflower Development, with a total of 42 condominiums and townhouses, opens this weekend at 220 E. Grant St. in Santa Maria.

The first phase features 27 units, priced from $89,990 to $114,990, with two or three bedrooms and 2 and 2 1/4 baths. They have 880 to 1,312 square feet, and move-ins are set for January.

The project’s common amenities include pool, spa and landscaped areas, with a monthly homeowner’s fee of $87. The project is reached from the southbound Broadway exit of U.S. 101.
