Guilty Plea in Hazardous-Waste Case: Laminating Co. of America pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy, 23 counts of illegal disposal of hazardous waste and one count of illegal transportation of hazardous waste dumped at the Santiago Landfill in Orange. As part of a plea agreement with federal prosecutors, the Garden Grove firm will pay $525,000 over three years. In pleading guilty, the company admitted that from 1985 until 1988, it dumped hazardous waste generated in the cleaning of laminating machines. (Case No. 90- 353. Filed Nov. 26, 1990.)
