Selling Gradco Shares: About two months after being ousted as chairman of Gradco Systems Inc., Keith B. Stewart is selling off a chunk of his stock in the Irvine office equipment company.

Stewart, who lost control of Gradco in a proxy contest last October, plans to sell 41,098 shares of the company’s stock, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. In September, Stewart owned 725,098 of Gradco’s 7.6 million common shares, or about 9.5% of the firm. Martin Tash, chairman of New York-based Plenum Publishing, gained control of Gradco’s board in a proxy fight and took over as chairman of the company after Stewart resigned.
