Share

A series of hourlong forums addressing consumer rights and the problems and issues involved in Medicare and long-term insurance coverage will be sponsored by the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy program.

The free discussions will deal with changes in Medicare coverage for the new year and ways that senior citizens and their families can make decisions about insurance policies and health-care expenses.

The Counseling and Advocacy Program is a nonprofit organization designed to provide assistance in coping with Medicare and health insurance. It is funded by the county Department of Aging.
