South Korean Navy Picks Lockheed Plane: It is expected to order eight Lockheed P-3C Orion aircraft for maritime patrol missions, Lockheed’s Aeronautical Systems Co. announced. Since 1963, the Marietta, Ga.-based unit has built 641 Orions for the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of 10 other nations.
