Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Jason Miller was fined $700 for being drunk and disorderly aboard a plane in October.

Miller was fined Tuesday after pleading guilty. In exchange, charges of marijuana possession and making terroristic threats were dropped.

Miller, 51, won the Pulitzer in 1973 for “That Championship Season.” He also was nominated for an Academy Award that year for his portrayal of Father Karras in the film “The Exorcist.”
