P.M. BRIEFING : 25 Millionth Mazda Rolls Off

HIROSHIMA, Japan —
Mazda Motor Corp. said today its 25 millionth vehicle has rolled off the production line.
The Japanese auto maker said the milestone was reached with the completion of a Eunos Roadster V-special for the Japanese market.
The company said the cumulative total production was attained in 59 years and two months, since the company started motor vehicle production with three-wheel trucks in 1931.
The company said the total included 15,236,809 passenger cars and 9,763,191 commercial vehicles.
