ORANGE : Conference to Focus on Business Outlook

Chapman College will hold its 13th annual Economic Forecast Conference on Thursday, during which experts will offer predictions on the economies of the county and the nation.
More than 750 business leaders are expected to attend. The conference will be presented by the college’s Center for Economic Research.
“Our forecasts help the business community in strategic planning--especially in economically uncertain times, such as today,” said James Doti, director of business forecasting at Chapman College.
The forecasts consider such areas as employment and personal income, bank deposits, construction activity, housing prices and monthly median family income.
The conference will begin at 2:45 p.m. in Chapman Auditorium at Chapman College, 333 N. Glassell St. Tickets are $60. Call (714) 997-6570 for reservations.
