Lancaster Recuperating: Actor Burt Lancaster, partially paralyzed by a stroke two weeks ago, remained hospitalized Wednesday in an intensive-care unit, where therapists worked to help him regain his motor skills. The 77-year-old star was visiting a friend Nov. 30 when he collapsed and was taken by ambulance to Los Alamitos Medical Center in serious condition. Doctors said the stroke left his right side partially paralyzed. “He’s still in intensive care and he’s undergoing extensive physical therapy and speech therapy. His spirits are high,” said his agent, Ben Benjamin.
