Countrywide Credit Industries Inc.: The Pasadena-based mortgage lender said third-quarter profit totaled $6.1 million, up 63% from the same period last year. Revenue rose 23% to $34.8 million. The company said it had increased mortgage origination volume by capturing market share from its competitors.
