Treasury Announces Holiday Auctions: The government said it will auction its regular 13-week and 26-week T-bills Friday for settlement Dec. 27; the amount to be sold will be announced tomorrow. The department will auction regular weekly 13- and 26-week bills Dec. 31 for settlement Jan. 3; the amount will be announced Dec. 26. The two- and four-year notes to be auctioned for settlement Dec. 31 are scheduled to be announced Wednesday and auctioned Dec. 26 and 27. The department will announce Jan. 2 the 13- and 26-week bills to be auctioned Jan. 7 and issued Jan. 10.
