Digital in Venture With German Firm: Mannesmann AG said its deal with Digital Equipment Corp. will give DEC control over the German company’s computer operations. Mannesmann will split the computer operations of its Mannesmann Kienzle GmbH division into a jointly owned company, Digital-Kienzle Computersysteme. DEC will pay about $230 million for a 65% majority stake in that firm.
