Countywide : Public Invited to Discuss CSU Effects
Area residents who want to help guide a study on the environmental impacts of a proposed Cal State University campus in Ventura County may comment in Oxnard next Thursday.
Cal State officials plan a session from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Oxnard Hilton to determine the issues to be studied in the environmental document.
Cal State is considering four sites for a campus.
They include 312 acres near Harbor Boulevard and Gonzales Road northwest of Oxnard; 300 acres south of Wooley Road between Rose and Rice avenues south of Oxnard; 589 acres near Central and Santa Clara avenues west of Camarillo, and 448 acres south of Foothill Road between Wells and Kimball roads northeast of Ventura.
