Sheen Turns Tables: Actor Martin Sheen turned autograph hound after wrapping up a scene in the Dallas Morning News newsroom for an upcoming miniseries. Sheen, who plays a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter in “Touch and Die,” found himself talking last week to real-life Pulitzer winner David Hanners, whose winning 1988 story detailed the investigation of a private airplane crash in poor weather. Sheen asked for an autograph, and Hanners penned: “To Martin: Don’t fly when it rains.” Sheen, 50, is playing the lead in the miniseries, which is a project of Italian, French, German and British producers. The movie depicts Sheen on the trail of a presidential candidate campaigning with tainted funds.
