YOUNG READERS: Libraries abound in the county (B2), and like many of them, one in Orange has a specialty: abused children. . . . Orangewood Children’s Home is one of the first children’s shelters to have a library program and has issued more than 100 cards since the program began a year ago. . . . Workers also have trained 25 fifth- and sixth-graders as storytellers. “It has hooked the kids on the idea that reading can be fun,” says director Bob Theemling.
