End-of-year observations on Rams and Chargers. . . . The former didn’t Ram and the latter didn’t charge! As tough as it is to analyze current professional football operations, it is apparent that discipline is a missing ingredient. The respective coaches seem to be nice guys, but Vince Lombardi has no doubt turned over in his grave.

As Leo Durocher is quoted, “Nice guys finish last.” To John and Dan: Get tough or resign yourselves to the pits.
