2 Charged in Fatal Shoot-Out With Police
The district attorney’s office filed charges of murder, attempted murder of a police officer, robbery, grand theft, conspiracy and cocaine possession for sale against Christopher Clyde Slater and Donovan Shawn Norris, who were involved in a Jan. 3 shoot-out with Redondo Beach police at the Alpine Village Shopping Center in Torrance.
A third suspect, Dlando Moses, was killed during the shoot-out. Officer Richard Mansfield suffered a bullet wound in the hand and two broken ribs.
